Top 5 Wednesday: Nostalgic Ships

This weekly book meme is brought by Top 5 Wednesday on Goodreads.
Hey y'all, guess what? It's Wednesday AND it's February, which means get prepared for some lovey-dovey type Top 5 Wednesdays around here.
Today we're talking about those first fictional relationships we ever got butterflies over. Here are mine!

If we're talking about nostalgia, then I have to take it all the way back to Francie and Ben from A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. I know, I know, they don't even actually end up together--but something about their relationship captivated me as a kid (I read this book every year from third grade on), and I still get nostalgic about them.
Joey and Pacey, my god. I never cared about Dawson, I just waited and waited and waited for Joey and Pacey to finally get it together and get together already. Ugh, my heart.
Actually, Ben and Felicity broke my heart over and over. But I guess that's usually how it goes.

Now, it's true that I do NOT get nostalgic for Bella and Edward these days (I just get a little grossed out), but I'd be lying if I didn't admit to going a little crazy for this story when it first came out.
When I was a wee thing, I was obsessed with musicals. And none grabbed my attention quite like the original film version of Grease staring Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta. I was absolutely insane for these two.
What are some of the earliest ships you shipped? Were any of these on your list?
