TOP 10

The best books I've read in 2016

01

A Court of Mist and Fury

Sarah J. Maas's incredible, beautiful, steamy sequel to A Court of Thorns and Roses.

02

Empire of Storms

Tbh, it's really been the year of Sarah J. Maas, as far as I'm concerned, and the latest in the Throne of Glass series killed me.

03

The Wrath & The Dawn

Technically a 2015 novel, but I loved this gorgeous book inspired by A Thousand and One Nights.

04

The Girls

The gorgeous writing of this fictionalized account of the Manson Family had me mesmerized.

05

Fangirl

I was pretty late to this Rainbow Rowell masterpiece, but I made up for it by reading the entire thing in one day.

06

You Will Know Me

A haunting, terrifying story of a family and community obsessed with gymnastics. I had no idea I could care so much.

07

A Madness So Discreet

Another 2015 hit filled with beautiful, lush writing; fierce women; and a truly terrifying insane asylum.

08

Walk on Earth a Stranger

I loved this book because I viewed it as basically the novel version of Oregon Trail, with a little bit of magic thrown in.

09

Crimson Bound

I don't know anyone who can do a fairy tale retelling quite like Rosamund Hodge. Another 2015 release, but I was glad to find it because it killed me.

10

Lessons in Gravity

This is probably my favorite cutesy New Adult love story of the year. Bonus points and many thanks for all the rock climbing knowledge I now posses.
