Top 5 Wednesday: 2018 Reading Resolutions
This weekly book meme is brought by Top 5 Wednesday on Goodreads.
I started my blog in late 2016, but I felt the first few months of that was more a trial run. In early 2017, I began posting more regularly and participating in weekly features such as Top 5 Wednesday. All this to say that I feel like I've finally gotten a solid year of blogging experience under my belt, and am pretty excited about this week's Top 5 Wednesday topic.
I've made a couple bookish resolutions for 2018--some around reading, and some about blogging and this website. Keep reading to find out what made the list!
1. Regular Posting
I am to post at least 2 times a week, and will ideally aim for posting 3-4 times per week.
2. ARC Pile
Stay on top of my ARC pile and maintain at least an 80% on NetGalley.
3. Watch the Book Buying
I resolve to finish at least two of the books I already own before buying a new one--and this includes those daily deals!
4. Write More Features
I want to write more unique content for this blog, separate from the standard reviews and weekly memes.
5. Read What I Love
This means I'm not adding books to my TBR or wishlist just because they're being hyped up. I'm going to seek out books that genuinely sound fascinating to me, and then go from there.
I haven't made any other resolutions because...I just don't usually do that. But I have a lot of ideas for this blog in particular, and think I've gotten enough experience under my belt to tackle some of this other stuff. I'm also planning on a few updates to this site, so stay on the lookout for design changes!
What are your Reading Resolutions for 2018 (and/or regular resolutions, too, if you make those!)?
